Q: What if it rains on race day?
A: Rain or shine, SHE Power Indy is ready to celebrate! We’ll do everything we can to provide an amazing race experience, but yes, the event will take place even if it rains. Be sure to check the forecast and dress accordingly. A little rain won't stop thousands of strong women from crossing that finish line!
Q: Where should I park?
A: White River State Park is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, with several nearby parking garages and limited street parking available throughout the area. We strongly recommend arriving early on race morning to allow plenty of time to park, walk to the start area, and get settled before the race begins. Q: Can a friend pick up my packet for me?
A: Absolutely! If you're unable to attend packet pickup, a friend or family member may pick up your race packet on your behalf. They will simply need to present your QR code at packet pickup.
Q: Can I change my race distance? A: The 2026 SHE Power event is completely sold out, and both the 5K and 10K courses have reached capacity. Because of course limits and distance-specific medals, we’re unable to make any race distance changes at this time.
If you’re feeling unsure about completing the distance you registered for, we encourage you to consider transferring your entry to another participant. There are many women eager to participant. Please also remember that you’ll have a full 2 hours to complete the 10K, and walking is welcome. This race is about showing up, moving forward, and celebrating your strength.
Q: I am entered in the event but can no longer attend, what are my options?
A: We understand life happens! As agreed to during registration, SHE Power does not offer refunds or deferrals for any reason, including illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, or other unforeseen circumstances. However, you may transfer your registration to another participant through June 24th. After that date, transfers will be closed with no exceptions. Please note that participant shirts, medals, and event merchandise will not be mailed to registered participants who do not attend the event. If you'd like to sell your entry, we encourage you to post in the Discussion section of the SHE Power Indianapolis Facebook Event Page. There are women looking for an opportunity to participate.
Q: Can I exchange my shirt for a different size?
A: You will receive the shirt size and style you selected at registration. Limited shirt exchanges will be available at packet pickup on a first come, first served basis. And again on race day. Please check your shirt fit before leaving, as we cannot make exchanges once the event is over.
Q: Are strollers allowed on the course?
A: Strollers are not allowed on the 10K course but are permitted on the 5K course only. For safety and courtesy, stroller participants must start at the back of the 5K. Strollers may not be wider than 31 inches, and stroller wagons, wagons, and scooters are not allowed.
Q: Do I have to wear my race number?
A: Yes. All participants must wear their assigned race bib and have it clearly visible on the front of their body throughout the event. Your bib contains your timing chip and is how your race time and results are recorded. Participants without a visible bib may not receive an official time or appear in the results. Everyone on the course must be a registered participant wearing their assigned race bib. The only exception is a child age four or younger who remains in a stroller for the duration of the event. Race bibs may not be shared, transferred outside of the official transfer process, or worn by anyone other than the registered participant.
Q: Where can I see my results?
A: You can view your results on the scrolling monitors near the finish line immediately after you complete the race. You may also text your bib number to the phone number listed on the back of your bib to receive your time. Preliminary results will be available online at 131Results.com shortly after you finish. Please be sure to check your results before leaving and remember to pick up your age group award at the event, as awards cannot be mailed.
Q: Will there be any race photos?
A: Yes, and all photos will be free to download without any watermarks. HOWEVER, please understand we cannot guarantee photos so if you want to have a specific photo taken, please feel free to ask our photographer directly and he will be glad to get your photo. |
